Bearcreek Design is one of the areas TOP award-winning residential and small commercial design companies.
What sets Bearcreek Design apart is our exceptionally personalized and unique design process.
Bearcreek Design was one of the first companies to begin utilizing the power of AutoCAD's new B.I.M. (Building Information Modeling).
This process allows our clients to see and make changes while viewing them on screen.
Imagine being able to view your new house, addition or kitchen remodel all before a hammer ever meets the nail; being able to see your vision as if you were standing right there.
Want to see the magic for yourself, Go to our web page and have a look at our Design Process page. We think you will agree that our work speaks for itself.
It takes commitment and attention to detail to design such a home, and it's that attention to detail that sets Bearcreek Design apart.
It's the moment when we open the project file onto the screen and our client says 'wow!' that makes us smile.
It's that very moment we realize we have helped fulfill a dream of a place not just to call a house, but one that is truly a home.

Nancy and I have built three homes together and this latest one began with the design works of Wade McGilvra of Bearcreek design. This fellow is the best designer we have ever worked with. his professional approch and understanding of space and mass, resulted in our completion of the best home plan in the subdivision. after we moved in the neighbors came over and commentet that they wish they too had the saime designer.

A. Learning about the clients hopes and family dreams. Working together in creating living enviroments that help fulfill some of their dreams is extreamly rewarding.
A. How come other designers dont draw plans like you do.
Answer: It take a real commitment to keep up with the rapidly changing design world. and simply put. Most don’t have the commitment to change their ways of the past. It’s pretty easy to draw lines and circles like days gone by. Drawing in BIM or "Building Information Modeling" is an entirely new realm, and requires additional education and a commitment to implement and maintain proficiency.
Take a look at some of our renderings. I think you will agree. They almost look like a photograph. .
A. I think the one that stands out for me was at the end of a project a client opened her file, Pulled out the rendering I had produced for them of the home. Looked at me and said "Yes Wade, It does look just like that".
A. The Parker Redsidence on the lake in Lake Oswego. This was a difficult site and a dificult juristicition to work with. The home actually sits over the lake with a two door garage for the water toys. there is a height restriction on the property and we were able to design the home to within 2 inches of it. and acheive what the owner wanted.
