Hired on Thumbtack

Quick, efficient, and friendly. They even sent us photos of the gutters after they were done so we could see how they looked cleaned up. We would definitely use them again.

Jesse and his workers are very professional. They follow up with us 2x/year to make sure that we are good for our roof and gutters. Can seem a bit expensive but very efficient & took only 1 1/2 hour. Happy to work with them!

JNR did a great job of removing moss from our roof, at an excellent price. We live in a tall Victorian and had considerable moss build-up on parts of the roof, and minor moss on a couple of other parts. In a matter of hours, JNR had removed all the moss and cleaned the shingles. I especially appreciated the “before” and “after” photos they took so I could view their work, including on the really tall parts of the roof I’d never seen before. I know I certainly got my money’s worth, and got to meet a couple of very friendly and competent young men in the process. Highly recommended!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Roof cleaning and maintenance. Gutter cleaning, roof repairs, treatments, etc. We offer roof cleaning, moss removal, gutter cleaning followed by a treatment to help with prevention. We use the best method necessary which would be the healthiest option for your roof.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Answer: Good Question! 1. Make sure the person or company is licensed with the CCB. The Oregon Contractors Board makes it really easy to check. All you have to do is go to Oregon's CCB website and type in the contractors CCB# where it says contractor search. It will let you know if they are active or not. Plain and simple, if you hire someone who is not licensed, you take all the responsibility. If they get hurt, there is a good chance you will lose more than just your house. CCB#'s require, that's right REQUIRE, 1 million in liability and an insurance bond, for more than just your piece of mind. 2. As a roof cleaner or a roof cleaning company, one must be licensed by the Oregon Department of Agriculture if any kind of treatment application is applied. It does not matter what it is, even if it's just hand soap that they claim to kill moss, they would still need the license. Contact us for a good phone # for the DOA to check a license. 3. If they have employees, they will need to show workers compensation on their employees. If they are operating as a sole proprietor and have no help, then they would not need to have workers compensation.
