I am a photographer in the Portland Clackamas area.
I mostly do weddings, but I will do senior, family and maternity portraits as well.
I use a Pentax digital SLR camera. I shoot solely on location and will come to you or wherever you want your pictures taken.
All pictures are taken in color, and I have the ability to do some light editing to pictures (e.g. black and white, black and white with a touch of color and minor editing for scars or blemishes).

Olena did an AMAZING job on our wedding on July 4th 2011..She was very professional and she went above and beyond to make us completely happy with her work. She took hundreds of wonderful pictures and they all turned out gorgeous!! Olena is a very talented photographer and also has tons of great ideas for posing!! We will forever have wonderful memories of our wedding from all the beautiful pictures Olena took!! Thank you very much Olena!!!

Olena took beautiful pictures at our daughter Emily's wedding. She captured special moments and took several "unconventional" pictures which were great. My favorite picture is on her website....
it's the one of Emily gazing at her husband Shawn with the beautiful sunset in the background. I also really liked the black and white photos Olena took.....she's a great photographer and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.– Linda

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I choose to do mostly black and white pictures. Black and white captures something that regular color pictures can't. Its a great way to keep in touch with my roots of film photogrpahy.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love the traveling part of my job. I love seeing new places that I have never expereicenced before. That is why I choose to shoot soley on location.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in! If it is a group or family picture I recomend that you wear the same color shirts and same color pants (ex. black shirts and jeans). Also stay away from prints they become to busy and take away from the picture.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I choose to do photography on the side because I love doing it! I do have another full time job as well as going to school full time! I tend to cut people really good rates because I simply love taking pictures. Doing photogrpahy isnt about the money to me.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. I have developed most of my photography experience through experimentation. I took classes in high school and college. I like to stay up on trends by buying new photogrpahy books and finding out what my friends and family like and dislike.
