I specialize in neuromuscular therapy, which is a precise form of massage involving the muscles and abdominal area.
I have great success with providing relief for headaches; neck, shoulder, and lower back pain; and carpal tunnel syndrome — which is actually just tight muscles that impinge nerves, causing hand numbness and sciatica (probably just piriformis syndrome).
Pain is gone after just three days!
Question and answer
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) is a very precise form of massage that releases the muscules causing you problems such as rotator cuff, low back, carpal tunnel, etc. NMT helps bring balance between the nervous and musculoskeletal systems. This balance is achieved by alleviating muscle spasms, blood vessel constriction, trigger points and nerve entrapment or compression. Following a treatment the muscles continue to release for about 3 days. Both ends of the muscles are precisely worked and then the belly.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. I constantly have tight and tender neck and shoulders. Especially problems with my rotator cuff what can you do to help me? The problem starts with poor posture--sitting in front of a computer--your shoulders round forward and gravity further pushes you forward. Also raising your are upward constantly will push the upper arm into the shoulder joint causing micro tears and frozen shoulder. I work specifically with all the muscles comprising the shoulder area and teach you exercises to help yourself daily!
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. When Nancy first came to see me, she had no idea what NMT was, but was willing to give it a try. After working on Nancy, even just once, and then weekly and after getting her pain free -- monthly for maintenance. She now feels better every day and pain she had since her early 20's is not totally gone--40 years of pain GONE in 4 months.
