    Portland Movers Ready is NOT listed with the Better Business Bureau as claimed on their website. They are not licensed with the state. And when they break your stuff you have to track them down. Ask for REAL feedback - not BS from their buddies. Angie's List? NOPE!

    Hey man... your guys just packed my truck. What an amazing crew. You showed up on time in the middle of a freaking heat-wave and busted your proverbial behinds. We are on our way, referred you to our management company and our storage facility. Leo and his boys were friendly, professional and really nice, hard working guys. Thanks for making it so easy.     These guys are without a doubt, the best in the biz. Both price and service are on point. I needed a move and they were there on time and got me moved ahead of schedule. I'd only use them.

    These guys helped me move a month ago and they were amazing!!! Not only did they work there butts off but they were very polite, respectful to me and my stuff and they listen!!! I will only recommend them to everyone I know!!!!!!!!

    Do not hire this guy.
    He told me that he would do my move and then bailed on me.
    Then he contacted me again and said he could do it and then bailed on me again. He is not dependable or reliable. It is move day and I have no movers.

    this lady is ridiculous. i was trying to help her. i never bailed on her. i bid on her move inquiry. i ask what time. she tells me what time. i tell her that time wont work for us and good luck with her search. a few days later we get a cancellation on her move day. i go above and beyond call of duty and ask if she still needs help because we might be able to help after all. and while i wait for her to respond back i book another job. we never had this lady scheduled. we dont bail on customers. we help customers. this bad review is nonsense. trying to communicate with a potential customer via 3rd party middleman sites via message through site is hard enough. then to get bad review from a customer i was bidding on? sounds like a dumb system.

    I have used Jeff & his crew three times & my cousins used him once. They are always on time, courteous & go the extra mile to be courteous, conscientious & helpful. I will use them again & refer anyone I know who needs moving help.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. At 100 moves a month we do every type of job known to man. Lots of variety. But i must say our most common is a 2 man load/unload of a residence that takes 2 to 4 hours.

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. Well, we do 100 moves a month, but recently we did move a large chicken coop which was interesting, and also we recently completed our 1st thumbtack prepaid job.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Go with word of mouth...We can always provide references! The company with the most satisfied customers is the one you want to choose. Also ask up front if there are any extra fees, unlike most other moving companies we are not going to charge you extra hidden fees. Also tell your movers if you want something done that is not being handled. The only way to get things done the way you want is to make sure what you want is very clear.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I wont name any names but many of our competiters pull no shows to jobs they had booked. Also many of our competiters will use random day laborers. Also many of our competiters have lousy gear. This all disgusts me.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Ask them how many jobs they complete each month. Ask them where their reviews are. Ask them about their availability. If they stutter or if they are trashy fakers you should be able to recognise this with their idiotic responses.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Before contacting us regarding their move, a customer should have the following information ready: date of move, start time, start address, number of men needed. Also is it a load only, unload only, in-home move, load/unload? And if its a load/unload, what city is the unload in? Also, how many hours does customer predict that they will need our services for?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We have 100% quality work. We provide fast efficient skilled movers who are always looking to save you both time & money. We show up with all the equipment needed to move you at no extra charge to you. Other movers complain about hard tasks or even go as far as refusing to move stuff if its too dirty or difficult. We will move all your belongings with a smile on our face no grumbling from us.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Being able to customize our moves to meet the needs of each and every individual. We are very good about making you the boss. What you want is what you are going to get with All Pro Movers. Our hours are very flexible because we make our own hours which are set by the needs of our customers.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How much is this going to cost me? Many people are under the impression that only rich people can afford movers, but this is not true! Lets face it moving is expensive..you have to eat out pay for gas in a uhaul & feed all your helpers & pay for their gas too. The list can go on & on for shrink wrap moving blankets rope & lots more. Hiring movers is really sometimes cheaper or just as much as getting friends to "help" you but its so much easier! Have you ever got the dreaded friend needs help moving in the rain phone call? Faking sick is not really the good friend thing to do. So suggest All Pro Movers to save money and stress!

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. A favorite story from work? Well, there are so many different storys to tell because we encounter a lot of things.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I want some of these customers to know that what we do is a trade that does take time to learn. And that they shouldnt question our pro judgement.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I realized that construction was dead and i needed to figure something else out fast. And it was just a natural progression.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. Recently we had to move a bunch of very large heavy nice furniture and the customer underestimated our skills and we completely proved to her that she waz foolish to ever doubt us.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I am constantly having frenzied brainstorms on how i can better our service. And i am always hunting and searching for more information to better my moving business.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. We just purchased a bunch of new state of the art moving equipment for all of our crews. Just to give us that extra edge in convincing customers that we are well prepared with all the essential gear plus a whole lot more.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. Most recent project was yesterday. A 3 man job. Getting big pieces out of storage, loaded onto truck, and then unloaded into a consignment place. 2 hour job.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. Prices starting at $30/hour for 1 man. 3 hour minimum charge for 1 man. $45/hour for 2 men. $65/hour for 3 men. $85/hour for 4 men. $100/hour for 5 men. 2 hour minimum charge for 2, 3, 4, and 5 men. Time starts when we arrive at 1st location. Time ends when we are paid and free to leave. Anything over 2 hours is charged by the 1/4 hour.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. If you want to become a mover you 1st must understand and except what "on call" means. To be a mover you must keep your cell phone on hip at all times.

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. Our greatest strength is our ability to provide customers with same day service. Its easier than ordering a pizza. Simply call or text us with: date of move, start time, start address, number of men, and we can be at your door in 45 minutes.

Q. What are you currently working on improving?

A. I am constantly working on every aspect of my business. I am attacking this war on all fronts. I work hard at keeping good men on board. All my men must be trained to our program. Every man must know our policies, standards, proper protocol, and procedures.
