- What types of customers have you worked with?
For performances, I am most often hired for wedding receptions and birthday parties. Weddings have become my specialty over the last few years as more and more couples are looking for elegant, professional, and exciting entertainment on their big day! In the Middle East, no wedding is complete without a belly dancer and non-Middle Eastern couples hire me regularly as well. It's my absolute pleasure to celebrate this day with you and I make sure I am available all day for any last minute requests or needs. Birthday parties tend to be a bit more casual but my performances are always top notch. Sometimes my performance is a surprise for the guest, and other times I am asked to perform and then teach a mini-lesson to the guests. I always end my performances with the guests dancing along!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure to find out as much as you can about the performer you are wanting to book. In this day and age, everyone should have at least one video online somewhere. Follow your gut instinct - is this someone you'd want your grandmother to see? Professional dancers are poised, graceful, and put the audience first. Look for reviews online for the performer. There really is a lot of information out there to help you decide. When you're ready to book her, contact her by phone or email and provide as much information about your event as possible. A professional will go the extra mile to customize her performance for your audience.
