    Oh , yeah ! Jeff came to my house , spent the time and thought to recognize my software problem was in fact a hardware problem , resolved it in literally seconds AND since the fix provided him with a valuable (to him) visual aid didn't charge for the work !
    Not to say he works for free ! But short of free - his charges are very reasonable . It was that extra consideration and the other ideas he threw my way that made him worth way more than simple charge for service - and that will keep me coming back . What I'm saying is : the guy is a total keeper ! I can't recommend him enough . Doug , Hillsboro

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Hardware installation, spyware and malware removal, virus removal, data recovery and backups would be our most common type of jobs.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure you are being treated with respect. Ask for the computer technician to explain what was wrong in terms you can understand (not their techy talk). Be sure the technician will call you if any additional repairs are needed beyond the agreed amount before performing such repairs.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Computers are weird. Many different things can cause them not to work. The thing to remember is to take it slow and work through scenarios in your head.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. The number one thing to try and explain to a computer technician is when, where, and how your computer started acting up. Usually this can pinpoint any possible causes to damaged hardware or software (physical or spyware/malware damage)

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The interaction with our customers and working on computers is something that we cherish. We take care of client computers and property like it were our own and take pride in the work we perform.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. What's the best Antivirus software? Although there are many ways to answer this question, you first must ask yourself whether you are willing to spend money on a good Antivirus suite. If you are looking for a free method of protection, AVG Antivirus is our first choice. Once you go into yearly subscription charges, our choice would sway towards Eset NOD32 or Kaspersky Antivirus.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. We recently had a job where the clients screen was constantly flickering. After troubleshooting for about five minutes, we soon realized that it was most likely a hardware problem. After opening the computer and looking around, we soon found the video card had bulging capacitors. After removing this bad video card, the computer worked flawlessly! We didn't charge the customer anything since the fix was very quick - and it provided a good visual aid to show customers in the future.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Although hourly rates might seem high, many fixes are completed in less than an hour.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Computers have been something we've enjoyed working on for years. We take pride in keeping our customers happy.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. We constantly read about new and upcoming technology. We keep up with trends and new ideas on how computers can be used. In the computer repair field, this is mandatory.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Solid State Drives (SSD's) are the new buzz. As many customers are aware, processor keep getting faster year after year. Many months ago, processors became faster than any other part of your computer (with the exception of RAM). The bottleneck for speed turned to your hard drive. Since SSD's were released, processors are now the bottleneck again. Yes, SSD's are really that fast!
