Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. There are so many tricks to painting that I have picked up over the years that have made it a more enjoyable experience that it is hard to pinpoint just one. One thing I can tell you that having the right equipment is a huge difference. When someone purchases a 3 dollar brush instead of a 25 dollar purdy brush, they are getting what they pay for and it will make a big difference with the frustration level of the job.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Every job is treated as if it was being done to my own house. Employees are held to the highest expectations and we are not satisfied if the customer is not satisfied.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Believe it or not as most people don't believe this: I like to paint and that is why I am in the business. I remember a time when I didn't like it at all and I figured out the reason I didn't like it was because I was not yet skilled at it. When I became a skilled painter it was no longer frustrating and I enjoy it now.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. The first question I am usually asked is "How much will this cost". Cost is all based on time and what kind of job you want done. If you just want a coat of paint it will be a different cost then if you want patching, caulking, sanding, pressure washing, and trim done. Just as an example.
