We are Jayme and Russ, an amazing husband and wife photography team. We love to photograph couples in love. We capture the uniqueness of your wedding.
We offer a mix of modern and photojournalistic style wedding photography. We travel. We are easygoing, fun, and professional. We love brides who have DIY weddings! We love seeing the creativity and ideas that you put into planning your perfect day.
We are visual storytellers. Customers love our ability to capture fleeting moments like the look on the bride's face as she eyes her groom for the first time as she is walked down the aisle by a very proud father, or the look on your mom's face as she helps you into your wedding gown.
We love capturing the tender moments during the ceremony. Tears, laughter, and joy, we capture it all.
Two photographers mean better coverage. Two photographers who are also married mean we work really well together. We compliment each other's photographic skills, each bringing our own unique vision together to better tell your story.
We also love to photograph engagements, rehearsals, and bridal portraits.

Jayme and Russ are quite simply the most talented and thoughtful photographers anyone could hope for. My husband Sylvan and I hired them for our August 2011 wedding, and the work they did for us exceeded our wildest expectations. Not only is the quality of their craft incredible, they're two of the most passionate, sincere, professional people we have had the pleasure of knowing, and we're proud to have become their friends after bonding during the wedding festivities. Jayme and Russ captured countless moments during our celebration that we will cherish for the rest of our lives, without once being intrusive. So many of our guests remarked on how amazing our photographers were, and if you hire Harvest Moon Photography for your wedding, I have no doubt that your guests will say the same.

Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Our number one advice is to meet the photographer or photographers in person to see what you think about their personalities. Will you mesh well with them. Next to a wedding planner there is no one you will spend more time with then the photographers. All photographers have different styles and approaches on the wedding day make sure understand and like their approach.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Why is a good question to ask. Why do you choose to document weddings. What sets you apart from the competition.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. A great litmus test for hiring a professional photographer is whether they carry professional liability insurance?
Another litmus test is do they have back up equipment?
Another great question to ask is what if you are for some unknown reason unable to photograph my wedding what happens? Do you have a network of professional peers that could step in and do the job right.
