Great experience with this company. Todd was able to come out and give an estimate within a week of when I called. He arrived on time and gave a competitive bid. I was kept in the loop regarding installation date(s) and delivery times. I really appreciated that.
On the day of our deck cover installation, the crew showed up promptly, worked solidly with a great attitude and got the job done in the time frame promised. Clean up was good too.
As an aside, the deck cover ended up completely fulfilling my expectations. Materials are excellent.
Overall, I was very happy with Home Improvements Pro and will definitely put them on my short list for any future projects I have.– Beth

Home Improvements Pro just completed my roof and new deck. Wow, finally a company that does what they said they would do and it all looks great. House looks like new, and we are very excited to use are new deck this summer. I will be referring Todd and his crew. They were all polite and worked every day until job was complete. Want it done right the first time call this company.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Always make sure you ask your contractor for current license, bonding, and insurance.
Asking for references or reading reviews is always a good idea.
Seeing completed projects either on the web or photos is another way of viewing the esthetic value of what the contractor thinks is good work.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. The cheapest price is never your best job! Contractors will always cut material quality before labor and profit.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Years in service is always a good sign of expertise.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Clients should have defined the project and have a good idea of what the scope of work is going to be. If a new deck or patio cover is your desire, have a general idea of design. If remodeling kitchens or bathrooms have pictures from magazines and Internet that please you.
Be willing to let your contractor help you with the final design aspects of the space, this is why you are hiring a professional.
