Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Go in and talk to the shop. Get a feeling for who they are. See how they treat the other clients. Do have affiliations like AAA? Or Napa Auto care? These things can help protect you when you are on the road. When other shops are affiliated with AAA and or Napa Auto Care and you have a parts issue it may be covered!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I wish I knew that I did not have to go to the dealer to keep my warranty in effect. That maintaining my vehicle is SO much cheaper than having to repair it. I wish I had known a shop that cares about their clients.
I wish I had known that I did NOT need my fluids changed EVERY time I had my oil changed!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Ask if they have a warranty.
Will they show you the part? Will they bring you back to your car and show you? Are they ASE certified. Will the mechanic call and explain what is going on to your significant other?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. How long do they want to keep their vehicle?
Are they willing to take on car payments?
Having your past receipts for work done will be important. Maybe the issues is covered under a parts warranty.
