Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Feel comfortable with the chef. He/she will be in your kitchen preparing food for you and/or your family. A relationship and perhaps a friendship will be developed....make sure there is a good rapport.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How to make a perfect French omelet. it's not as easy as it looks and it takes lots of practice. That's the key to being a great cook or chef is practice, practice, practice!

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Have an idea of what kind of meals you'd like to have prepared for you; what you don't like to eat, and how much you are looking to spend. This helps me design a menu that is just right for you!

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We provide high quality meals professionally prepared with ingredients from as many locally sourced purveyors as possible. All of our menus are customized to meet our clients tastes, dietary requirements, and budgets.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The direct contact with the client; I get great satisfaction from seeing my clients happy and content after eating my food.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. What are your prices? We don't have set prices on the food we prepare because each client has different tastes, dietary requirements, and budgets. We tailor everything to meet those requirements.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. A recent customer received a gift certificate from his wife for a private lesson to learn to make fresh pasta. He was so excited; we made two kinds of stuffed pasta: ravioli and cannelloni. He invited friends over to enjoy the outcome and they all loved it. When I arrived, I received a handshake--when I left; I got a hug.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. It's more affordable than you think. We customize all of our services to meet the needs of the clients tastes, diet, and budgets.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I am a career changer. I spent 25 years as a project manager in Corporate America. I've always been a passionate home cook, so decided to make it a profession two years ago. I couldn't be happier now....good food makes people happy and I like being around happy people.
