Sean Arnold of Oregon City Computers is da MAN!!! He provided the best, most economical service for my 5-6 yr old MacBook that I have EVER received! To replace my MacBook's hard drive (completely toast) it coast $79 for a 500 Gb Hitachi drive and installation, plus reinstall of the system software, I paid $160. I was expecting twice that amount. ... And Sean's a great guy -- great sense of humor, he knows PC and Mac platforms, he does what he says and he does it as quickly as he can.

I will be using Sean for ALL my Mac repairs from now on!

    Thanks Sean!

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask for references, Make sure a company is properly licensed and insured.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I would want someone to speak to me in language I understand, not techno babble

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. A customer should ask as many questions as possible and keep asking until they receive a response that has been clearly explained with all risks and benefits described to them

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Oddly enough, I owned another business nearly 20 years ago. I had a partner and I was in charge of all the "in office" stuff. While playing around with our business computer I managed to completely crash it. I took it to a repair shop and was very unimpressed with the way the dealt with me and my computer. I vowed to learn as much as I could about computers and computer repair that day

Q. What are you currently working on improving?

A. I am always working on knowing more about my customers and how I can best serve them. The more I know about a customer and how they use technology the better I can make my services work for them
