FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am certified in several accounting software. Every year, I have to re-certify, which is only one of the ways I count "continuing education". I attend numerous webinars & seminars, especially pertaining to the industries relevant to my clients.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I had a client who needed to get up-to-date and FAST! She and her husband owned a business for the last 7 years and discovered they never filed any payroll returns (or made payroll tax deposits) to the state. 3 years of payroll returns had to be made, in the order they would've been submitted originally. Oh and the deadline when she contacted me? 1 week. One week for 3 years. I didn't panic, even though she did. I told her to relax, because I would get it done. I kept her updated on the progress *and* forwarded her copies for her records, as I completed them. They were submitted by the deadline and we were able to discuss the situation with the state and reduce the penalties. She is now interested in learning to use QuickBooks for their bookkeeping and more about handling payroll. It was a win-win!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask for client testimonials or references. Listen to hear if the provider actually listened to your questions and/or concerns.
