Knowing the applicable laws, including defenses, evidentiary rules are important but for developing defenses and attacking state allegations more is needed. The attorney with the broader life experience will generally have more tools for understanding and competently challenging and predicting the tactics of the prosecution and their witnesses. Ed will take your telephone call and discuss your questions and concerns. He will not charge you for this time as he determines whether he could best help you or whether he will suggest other courses for your matter. These conversations will be absolutely confidently and will most probably be useful for better understanding what might be expected, including if appropriate, discussion of probable and possible responses. He will make an appointment to meet with you at a mutually selected location.
