Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am a ridiculously fussy eater and a perfectionist who is also adventurous with flavour combinations. I will happily create anything from a single jar of sugar-free cherry jam to a weekly dinner menu for a gluten-free diet, or go wild with a menu that has no restrictions whatsoever. If it isn't good enough for me, it isn't good enough for anyone else. The look on a person's face when they take that first bite.

When my church needed catering for a mid-size group, someone suggested I get in touch with Plum — and WOW was everyone glad I did! Jennifer offered a diverse list of options to choose from, was thoughtful toward dietary concerns, and helpful at every step. She arrived on time with extra help to set up the chafing dishes. Everything was beautifully presented and quite fresh. Meatballs, salad, dessert breads, and more were all absolutely incredible. Everyone was quite pleased with Plum's food. And my favorite part? Almost everything was organic, mostly local, and the meat was responsibly raised. Good food from a great cook in the neighborhood that's also good for the land. Highly recommended. Especially the meatballs.

Jennifer delivers meals to us twice a week on a regular basis. Some of those meals we have specifically requested. Others we request as a "surprise". As a well-traveled woman who has spent time living in various countries, Jennifer has developed a sense of how to bring international flavors to American cuisine. If I should ask her to bring me a beef stew, for example, I anticipate that it will not be my stew recipe that I could make for myself, but perhaps one with savory Russian seasonings, maybe accompanied by a fresh-from-the oven loaf of bread. Meals sometimes include delightful appetizers such as an eggplant sliced and rolled around ricotta cheese topped with a tomato-based sauce. Or there might be a Brie made into a desert with a syrupy pecan and cranberry sauce, or some lovely home-made ice cream with chocolate chunk cookies. Eating Jennifer's cooking has been an adventure for us that we look forward to continuing. She cooks from her soul, and her soul is very well.

Thank you, Nancy! I really enjoy cooking for you, as well as the chats we have at delivery times. Being able to surprise you with new things is a huge plus.
