I offer humanistic style, spirituality, desensitization training and chemical dependency therapy.

I have experience working with depression, anxiety, conflict, and addictions. I provide traditional talk therapy, conflict resolution, desensitization training, substance abuse assessments and therapy, and Reiki energy work. All to provide service to your personal growth and help you overcome difficulties.

My style is client centered, humanistic and relationally based. Therapy that I offer is often spirited and frequently challenging (but always supportive), can be life changing, and marked by humor.

In therapy, you'll move toward self-analysis and introspection, and with the feedback that I provide, find the solutions to your questions. You'll experience and explore yourself in a truthful way that will bring clearer understanding for the possible need for modifications in your life and assist in strengthening your determination and desire to begin to take action.

I received my master's degree of Social Work from Wayne State University at Detroit, Michigan. My Bachelor of Science in Social Work degree was awarded Summa Cum Laude at Eastern Michigan University.

I am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) Level III in Oregon State. I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon State.

I have over 12 years of experience as a certified Reiki Master doing energy work. I learned Desensitization Training through classes in Behavioral and Cognitive Interventions at Wayne State University, while doing graduate work.

National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the national and local Association of Humanistic Psychology or AHP bespeak my membership.

My initial consultation of 30 minutes is usually free. If it appears an excellent therapeutic "fit", we'll talk about the length and direction of your therapy. My standard fee per 50-minute session is $90, and I give a sliding scale based on your family income.

Payment is made by check or cash at each meeting. Other than accident or illness, if you don't show up for a scheduled meeting or if you withdraw with less than 1 day notice, I ask that you honor the payment responsibility for the meeting. It may also be possible to accept fee from third party services or for you to be paid back by a third party for your sessions.

I am a member of the Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Oregon, Aetna and Lifewise provider panels, and I am capable of working with customers on Medicare.

I can bill some other insurances "out-of-network." I'm also able to provide clinical supervision for both social work and counseling interns in Oregon.
