I can do pretty much whatever. I do not have the qualifications to do training, other than the basic commands.
I can house and dog sit for extended amounts of time. Just come by for a walk or run with your pups. I can water, feed and pet your cats. I can feed your fish and water your plants while I'm in your home.
I can take your little guys to the park to play fetch, or just lay in the sun. I can provide baths and administration of medicine, if they have any. You name it, and I can probably do it.
I am very negotiable with my rates. If you need a sitter, but you don't have the desired amount, I am willing to work with you. I will not turn away an animal for lack of sufficient funds.
* Overnights for less then 4 days are $30 to $45 a night. The rates depend on the animal(s), behavior, and needed maintenance.
* Overnights for more then 4 days are $25 to $40 a night.
* Walking per visit is usually between 15 t o 60 minutes for $12 to $16 dollars.
Like I said, I would be willing to work with people.
Question and answer
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. that it is more difficult then it looks! :) Going into someone's home, and taking care of their babies, is really hard when you don't know the home, or the exact behaviors of the animals.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Because I get personal with the animals I sit for. I want to make sure that we make a connection, and that I understand them as much as they understand me. I also have lot os experience with animals of all kinds, especially dogs and cats. ( I am an owner!) I also work at the vet tech program at PCC and am there working hands on with all the different animals that are on site.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Like I said, I love the fact that I get to connect with the animals. And their owners, I love to go out on walks with them, in the nature and the environment that they love. When I get to cuddle with the dogs, it feels really rewarding to me, because I know that while you are gone, they are happy and comfortable, waiting for you to return. :)
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. They may ask me what my rates are! And as I tell them it all depends on the animal, the behavior and the extent of the maintenance. Also they ask for references, as they want to know who is being around their family, and their home. I provide excellent references upon request.
