Sad Teresa was my trainer for a couple years and each session I paid her up front. Then August a new session to start I gave her a check and she cashed it. Next day emailed telling me she needed a few weeks of personal time. Okay ...one month later I emailed and asked her for a schedule and was met with how impatient I am. So I waited yet another month, now mid October, I emailed and asked her to refund my money as she only gave me 1/2 hour of ten hour session. SHE said NO refunds no matter...then went on to try and blame me for all my flaws and faults she could think of. I was shocked and very mad as she was the one who chose not to continue. That was just fine if I am a terrible person all she had to do is talk to me that day she took my 360.00. She still refuses to return the money and still continues to put blame on me. Okay for argument sake, lets say I am totally as bad as she said I am...WHY then did she take my money? Why not just say she didn't want to continue and NOT take the money. It would have ended and no issues arise. But the bottom line is I paid for a service and she refused to give me more than the first half hour. SHe is great at telling me how bad I was and "always" cancelled...yet I have email after email of day of cancellations on her part...stemming from traffic was too bad, she had to take her aunt somewhere, she was working on her sons car...the person after me cancelled so she didn't want to drive out my way, it is too hot for her dog......But she tells me it is all my fault. Telling me I resisted everything and blame everyone else for everything... but she kept me as a client for a couple years... I wasn't the one to end the sessions or take the money. Just give me my money back and don't start a new session with me...It would have been that easy. No blame no personal attacks just refund the money she took for a service I paid for. Not happening...SO buyer BEWARE.

Jodee, This is such an unfortunate air of grievances, and out of context. I can understand your frustration, however, the choice for resolution was offered without acceptance. In my defense, and as you well were aware, as were my other clients, that I was not just taking "personal time".... I was in the midst of a family crisis surrounding the care of an elderly parent in which unforeseen circumstances required my undivided attention. Nothing about it was planned. I have always extended you the courtesy of being flexible, and patient on multiple occasions, many of which were for extended periods of time. I would, and have for many of my clients. I work with a good number of people, all of whom are now back to their regular scheduled times, and who were with me throughout my brief time away. I had communicated with everyone with the same information, and a time frame in which I would be able to start booking, including you. In regards to session frequency and type - I suggested many times that we go back to the 60 minute format for a number of reasons, which was the original format and for both training and pricing structure and would have alleviated some of the related logistical issues that were arising due travel, and it would have gotten us through the current package in a timely manner. I have an outstanding record of training services delivered, and have many established longterm client relationships that fully support my dedication, and follow through. In terms of refunds; It is clearly stated on the waiver / contract that every client must sign prior to starting training or coaching that; "Training packages are non - refundable and must be used with 60 days or rendered void unless otherwise arranged. Services may be transferred to another coach or trainer. Cancellations with less than 24hrs notice are subject to fees, and counts as a session. 3 or more late cancels in a training period may result in non -refundable and immediate termination of training privileges." As a final offer for resolution, I offered a transfer of services to another trainer for the remainder of your package, which was not accepted. In all of the years I have been training and coaching, this is by far one of the most disheartening. I take my work very seriously, and offer a dedicated, compassionate and professional service. I will continue to move forward in the same way. In Health Teresa J

We are a group of 4 girls that decided to try a personal trainer as our job keeps us late at work and w don’t have a lot of time to exercise. It was the best decision ever  Theresa is awesome. She is very flexible on the type of workout we want for each session and her knowledge and helps us feel a lot better after the classes. We would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a knowledgeable, dedicated, professional trainer.

Working with Teresa is a unique experience. She is very creative about getting fit. Her fitness equipment consists of things you can mostly find in your neighborhood. Her workouts are fun and theraputic in ways (if you need to get out a little aggression, and don't we all). And Teresa is so motivating. You feel you've been working out, believe me. But you enjoy it! I am looking forward to my next session, who knows what she'll bring in her bag of tricks. I especailly appreciate how attentive Teresa is, I'm pretty sure I'm her only client...okay, probably not, but she makes me feel that way. I love working with her. In a one hour session, she manages to get me a thorough cardio and strength training workout and in ways that I can do myself at home.

I met Teresa at an OMSI event, I love the idea of training outdoors so I gave her a call. I have had major health issues/surguries over the last four months, and Teresa listened to every word; she asked insightful questions about my health goals and diet habits. I am not yet physically ready for the group classes and she offered personal training geared to help me become ready! I was moved by her compassion for health and helping others. Besides her awesome business (green) philosophy, she is incredibly dedicated to others and working with their specific health, schedule and budget issues. I am really looking forward to keeping active and getting stronger with Teresa's coaching.
