FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, to stay up on the latest developments we subscribe to various trade newsletters as well as attend continuing education classes both online and on campus.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was a kid I saw a video about a general contractor building custom homes. I decided that was what I wanted to do when I grew up. I started studying carpentry, electricity and welding in middle school in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was going to school to become an Architect. However, when I came to this country I discovered that I do not need this degree to create beautiful homes, or even to draw plans for the city. This made my dream become a reality even sooner.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We often help our customers create living space where space is not being utilized efficiently. Such as: Additions, Attic space, Basement remodels, Additional Dwelling Units (Mother-in-law quarters), etc. Kitchens have evolved to become the hub of daily life, so we also see a need for remodeling kitchens from strictly utilitarian space, into organized entertaining space. Bathrooms are very popular to remodel. This is an intimate room where you ultimately need and want to be at your most comfortable.
