I use Adobe Creative Suite Production CS5. I'm PC-based, using Adobe Creative Suite Production CS5 - Premiere and AfterEffects.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Have a clear understanding of what you are looking for in an image; if possible, scribble it out on a cocktail napkin. The clearer you are about the details of your project, the easier it will be to get good responses from your searching.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How can I tell if this person is honest?
Research the creative's website.
Look at the creative's portfolio of work, and find out how long they've been in business.
Ask for references.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How do you go about creating your images?
How do you determine your fees for a project?
What happens if I don't like the image you create?
Do you charge to make revisions to the image?
If the answers to the above questions don't seem reasonable, maybe you need to look for someone else.
