- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1. Relax and enjoy the photo session, knowing that you are in experienced, creative and respectful hands. 2. Choose clothing that you know fits and flatters. 3. Get a good hair cut a few days before your photo session, not the day of your appointment. 4. Ladies, apply a bit more mascara than normal. Matte cosmetics (lipstick, eye shadow, blush) will photograph better than shiny. 5. Solid colors photograph better than busy patterns, as a rule. 6. Keep jewelry simple. If you have a signature piece, wear it, otherwise less is better. 7. For business headshots, consider an outdoor location if your occupation permits. Natural light photos portray you as engaging and approachable - good for counselors, sales people, etc.
