- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $25 an hour for basic cleaning. If I am asked to do more additional things such as inside the fridge, inside the oven etc. I will charge an additional $10 for these items. If you are a weekly or bi-weekly customer then there is of course a discount and there is just a set flat rate. I also will come and do free estimates and we can decide on a flate rate right then and there. The hourly rate is if I am going to walk in there blind not knowing how much work I will need to put into the place.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I like to clean, I find it very theraputic and I like people being happy. I have noticed that in a messy, unorganized space the one thing that a makes the person working or living there the happiest is it being clean and organized. After I had my son last year I decided that I needed to start my own cleaning company so that I could ensure his financial security also with the employment rate in Portland I wanted to help others by giving them a good, honest, hard working job where they are decently paid as opposed to just trying to scrape by on minimum wage, hence I started Francesca's Eco Cleaning Services.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We specialize in deep cleaning, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Both for residential and commercial properties. We have a standard checklist and go through it with you before hand so it can be tailored to your needs.
