Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. First of all, make sure that the company you hire is insured. Though Clean Approach has never had any accidents, there are horror stories of housekeepers breaking valuables and not being able to pay for them. Remember that this is a luxury service, be just as cautious of companies charging too little as you are of companies charging too much. Double check your housekeeper's work, if you are not happy with something make sure to tell them. At Clean Approach, we are always willing to improve and appreciate criticism as much as compliments. Remember that you are inviting people into your home, so make sure that you feel comfortable around them and can trust them.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Some people don't realize how long it actually takes to do a deep cleaning and are shocked when they find out a clean that they assumed would be two hours actually takes four. However, we do not waste time and rest assured you will be much more happy with the results of a four hour deep clean than a two hour light clean. It is also very easy to be taken advantage of in this business. Some cleaning companies tell people that they are working longer hours than they are, and cut corners to get to get the job done sooner. Clean Approach is always honest with their customers. If a job doesn't take as long as quoted, you will know and be compensated.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Clean Approach offers discounts for many people, so make sure to ask about them. If you are a senior citizen over the age of 60 you get a discount. If you are a new family with a child 5 years or younger you get a discount. These discounts exist because we understand that cleaning under such conditions can be difficult. Please let us know if you have pets. Cleaning can take a bit longer when removing pet hair. Let us know a general square footage, how many bedrooms and bathrooms you have and anything specific that you'd like us to do i/e; clean out your fridge or oven, iron, change your linens etc.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. At Clean Approach our customers come first. We will do what it takes to make sure that our customers are satisfied without cutting corners. The thing that really sets us apart however, are our discounts. We offer discounts that many other companies don't. We do this because we understand that even though this is a luxury service, there are some people who need the help. For example, it is not always easy for senior citizens to deep clean, as certain tasks become more difficult as we age. Another discount we offer is for new families. We understand that time can be hard to come by when you are balancing a job and young children and sometimes household chores aren't an option.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Clean approach is happy when our customers are happy. There is nothing better than the feeling we get when we see customers walk into their newly cleaned homes. Many lift their noses to the air to smell the fresh, non abrasive scents that are now filling their home. Many look to the floor and exclaim they didn't realize it could get so clean. Our customer satisfaction is definitely one of the best parts of our job. Another great part of our job are the customer relationships. We enjoy getting to know are customers and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure that they are happy.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Q: Do you bring your own supplies?
A: Yes. Clean Approach brings an array of eco-friendly cleaning supplies. We also bring two vacuums; one for floors and one for carpets. Please let us know if there are any specific supplies you would like us to use that we may not have.
Q: How do you charge?
A: Clean Approach charges by the hour with a one hour minimum.
Q: What form of payments do you accept?
A: As of now, Clean Approach only accepts checks and cash. Please make checks out to Clean Approach.
Q: Should I leave while you are cleaning?
A: Please do whatever makes you comfortable. Some people prefer to leave while we are cleaning, so we are not getting in each others way and the process can move at a faster pace. Please feel free to stay as well, some people do not feel comfortable leaving others in their home, which we completely understand.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Customers should know that we are here to make things easier for them, and always willing to go the extra mile. If there are ever any extra things around the house you may need help with, please don't hesitate to ask. Since we have a senior citizen discount, we have a lot of experience working with senior citizens who sometimes need extra help, i/e; taking down Christmas trees, lifting heavy boxes and organizing. This helping hand is extended to every one of our customers so please, let us know if there is anything extra that we can do for you.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. Our pricing system isn't that complicated at all. Our general rate is $30.00 an hour. If you are expecting or have a child living in the house under the age of 5 we offer a $5.00 discount, making your rate $25.00 an hour. If you are a senior citizen over the age of 60, we offer a $10.00 discount, making your rate $20.00 an hour. We offer these discounts because we understand that a luxury service such as ours can be more of a necessity to some. Though our prices may vary, our standards are always the same.
