Terra is a very welcome addition to our building. She is friendly, efficient and does a wonderful job cleaning our very old building using all natural products. For the first time in years, our 1927 building has a shine to it and I've had several comments from tenants on how the building looks and smells great after Terra has been here. I feel like we made the perfect choice when hiring Sparkling Homes and would highly recommend this company.

Tara just came for the first time today to clean our house and she and her assistant did a great job! They covered off all the items I asked them to take care of, put things back neatly, and even lined up my little girl's duckies in the bath. In addition, Tara is super friendly, professional, and well priced. I look forward to using them moving forward. :)

I've been having Sparkling Homes clean my place for a while now, and she and her assistant do an AMAZING job!! I couldn't imagine not having her around! They are in and out, and I feel refreshed when I come home! No cleaning for me!! I'll leave that up to Sparkling Homes!

I had a great New Years party. The cleaning company I have used before did not show up and the place was a mess. I found Sparkling Homes on Google. They showed up when they said and got the cleaning done quickly, efficiently, and they were affordable!

A. We provide service ranging from weekly, bi-weekly and monthly maintenance cleans to move out cleans, move in cleans and one time cleanings. We also offer small office cleaning. We have extra jobs that we are more than happy to do that have nominal fees. Some extras that we provide are: changing sheets, cleaning the interior of the refrigerator, cleaning the interior of the oven, sweeping the front porch, vacuuming under the couch cushions, and cleaning interior windows. If you have a task that you do not see on our above list, please ask. We enjoy helping our clients and often can do “odd jobs” requested for a small fee.
A. It is important that you meet your service provider and trust them. Ask any questions you have about them up front, a good thing to find out is if they are licensed, bonded and insured. It is also a great idea to check references and see what current or past clients are saying about the potential house cleaner. If you find a potential house or office cleaner that you are interested in, give them a try and then make your decision. Many cleaning companies require their clients to sign a contract, find this out up front- before you agree to ongoing cleaning service.

A. I think it’s important to know a bit about who you let in to your home, so here is a bit of background information about myself and the reason why I love cleaning so much . I graduated from Gresham High School and after decided to go to Mt. Hood Community College to obtain an Associates Degree in Office Management and certification for Legal Assistant. I have worked full time as a Legal Assistant and nanny since graduating but I have always wanted to pursue my own business.
I really enjoy helping my clients, to a lot of them, the cleaning service our cleaners provide is really helpful. I think that just knowing I have helped people's life be a bit more simple and enjoyable really makes the difference between my old office job and owning and operating this business!

What methods of payment does Sparkling Homes accept?
Sparkling Homes accepts cash, checks, and credit cards. A $40 fee will be assessed to your account if a check bounces and this fee must be paid before your next cleaning service will be provided. If two checks bounce in a year then Sparkling Homes will only be available to provide service if all service is paid in cash.*If you pay by credit card, we must add an additional $3 fee to cover the cost of paying using this method for payment.
When is the payment for house cleaning due?
Payment must be received on the date of service. Many of our clients choose to leave a check for us, as a lot of times they are not home at the time of service.
How does Sparkling Homes enter my home if I am not there?
Most of our clients give us a key, however there are other options. You can rest assured that your key will be safely secured in my safe the second I walk through the door. Your key is marked with just a last name, no address. We can also enter with a garage key code through the garage door. Lastly, we can enter through a front or back door with a spare key hidden outside your home. We don’t encourage leaving any doors unlocked for us to enter through. *There is a $25 lock out fee. Ie: you give us a code that doesn’t work or forget to put your spare key out and we cannot perform our services at our scheduled time.
What if I need to re-schedule my cleaning appointment?
We understand that sometimes things come up and we will work with you. It is expected to have at least one weeks notice to arrange our schedule accordingly if you must cancel. If you must cancel on the day of scheduled service the first time will not have a fee assessed, however there will be a $25 fee for each cancellation after the first cancellation without one weeks notice.
How much do you charge for your cleaning service?
The first clean that Sparkling Homes provides is considered an initial clean. Initial cleans are charged at an hourly rate. After the initial clean, Sparkling Homes will offer cleaning service at a set rate per visit. Every home is different and costs vary, there are quite a few things that must be taken into consideration when offering service at a set rate.
What is taken in to consideration when determining a set rate?
When determining a set rate after an initial clean Sparkling Homes takes in to consideration the size of the home, how many bedrooms and bathrooms, how much decor there is as well as how well kept you keep your home between cleanings.
Can I cancel service at any time?
Yes, you may. Sparkling Homes is a company that is truly here to help you. If you cannot afford our cleaning service any longer or if you simply decide our cleaning service is not right for you, all you need to do is give Sparkling Homes written notice via e-mail or a letter one week before your next scheduled cleaning service. Sparkling Homes has the right to cancel service at any time, giving our clients a week’s notice.
Does Sparkling Homes provide cleaning products?
Yes, we bring all of our own cleaning supplies. We prefer to use our own cleaning products, we know that they are safe to use on surfaces and know how to use them. Sparkling Homes has a Miele Pisces S5281 vacuum cleaner that works fantastic for cleaning wood floors and other surfaces safely.
What if I would prefer you to use my cleaning supplies?
Sparkling Homes is more than happy to use your cleaning supplies. Although, Sparkling Homes is not responsible for any damage done to your property when using your cleaning supplies.

A. I would not say that Sparkling Homes has a complicated pricing system, but I would like to explain it. We offer service at an hourly rate of $20 per man hour. We come in teams of two and initial cleans usually take two to three and a half hours, this depends on the size of the home or office we are cleaning. After our initial clean Sparkling Homes then offers ongoing cleaning service to at a set rate. We take any requests for extra tasks in to consideration before we offer our rate. We have no contracts so clients may cancel service if they need to.
