Janet 선생님 has been my first Thumbtack experience and my first Korean language lesson with a teacher outside of self studying. I looked over multiple Korean language teacher profiles on Thumbtack but her’s stood out especially by seeming fun and very approachable while also having many years of experience with teaching people of all ages which was very apparent through her lesson structure and overall personality! My first lesson was very comfortable. Janet 선생님 is very patient and encouraging regardless of where you are in your progress. I’ve had almost no experience with using Korean in a verbal conversation but now I get to practice and learn new things along the way! She gave me helpful feedback as well as helped create a plan and schedule based around my language learning goals. I highly recommend giving her a chance. I’ll definitely be going to her from now on and look forward to future lessons!
