Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I have over 13 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families in distress. I utilize a practical, research based approach to counseling and coaching my clients. I find that a cognitive behavioral and solution based approach is most effective in achieving change. My approach offers concrete skills that move my clients toward the desired behavior changes, as well as a longer term plan for maintaining their goals.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy working with a variety of people who are motivated to improve their lives through in the moment skills and behavior change. I like the flexibility my job affords me. I like that I can pass this flexibility on to my clients through in office or phone sessions. I especially enjoy watching my clients find and implement their answers.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. My clients ask me if I think their is hope in their situation, they ask if I am overwhelmed by their problems, they ask if I think they are crazy, and they ask if I think I can help them.
I answer, there is always hope, but you may need to adjust your expectations, yes, I might be overwhelmed if I were experiencing their problems, no you are not crazy, usually just reacting to a crazy situation in predictable way, and most often, yes, I think I can be of assistance to you. I do not have a magic wand, but do offer an outside perspective, and knowledge and skills to share.
