I represent individuals injured at the hands of others. Whether you were involved in a car accident as a driver, passenger, pedestrian or cyclist, I can help you get the money you deserve as compensation for your injury.

I also specialize in representing victims of crime. If you were physically or sexually abused, assaulted or if you were injured in an accident, call me to set up a free consultation about your case.

I take all my cases on a contingency fee basis, meaning that I front all the expenses in the case and I don't get paid for my time unless you get paid for your injury.

Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Prior to opening my own law firm, I was a Multnomah County Deputy District Attorney for 12 years. I have tried over 100 jury trials and have helped thousands of crime victims. I know what motivates juries and judges and I understand how to help victims who have been injured in an accident or by a deliberate criminal act.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy being on the right side and helping the person or people who truly have been victimized by someone and need help. I like to win and to know I won for the right reasons.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. 1. Do I need a lawyer? Maybe. I encourage those who can get a just result to do so on their own. If I cannot increase a potential client's compensation enough to justify my employment I will advise on how to proceed on their own.
2. How much is my case worth? It depends. If you are not done healing and we do not know how much your medical bills are, it is difficult to estimate how much your case is worth. Even if you are medically stationary, your case is worth what a jury will award you.
3. How do you get paid? I only get paid if the client gets paid. If the client is compensated I take a percentage of the award for my time on the case.
