I've known and worked with David in the wedding industry for a long time. I even had the honor of providing the flowers for his wedding. David has a great heart, an artistic eye, is ever on the search to learn new things, which keeps him on the cutting edge, he has an amazing attention to detail, and a desire to do outstanding work. There are lots of people who say they are dedicated and passionate but there are very few who are. David is exceptional. Also, he's great at capturing my flowers; when he's shooting I can relax because I have no doubt that he will take fabulous shots, so what's not to love? He's worth every penny and a whole lot more. Time passes by, and as David clicks his shutter, he captures the art of life. Hire him! I 100% guarantee you'll be beyond satisfied with your works of art.

Extremely talented photographer with an amazing ability to put his subjects at ease and "capture the real you". Have worked with him a number of times and will again. Creative and professional. Highly recommended.

I'm an event planner in the Portland area who has been working with David for over 10 years. David always exhibits a high level of professionalism on-site while at the same time being fun, warm, and kind. And of course, the photos! His art for weddings is beautiful and stylish and is a wonderful way to remember such an important occasion. I recommend him to my own clients and feel that others can be comfortable doing so as well.

A. I strive to offer clients high end photography paired with like products. My approach is professional, comfortable, and personable and comes from great passion. My goal is to deliver images and products that exceed my clients expectations and become heirlooms to future generations. Many photographers and companies put their income above the quality of the imagery and products and it shows. Quite often print and album companies are used that are knock offs of truly high end companies and are sold as genuine competitors. Many photographers do not own the latest and best gear and equivalent back up gear and in some cases no back up gear is on hand at all. These are all questions consumers should be asking in interviews before using photographers
A. I like capturing moments and creating images that will last a lifetime and beyond. I like to see the happiness and excitement in my clients and their friends and family with the images I have delivered to them. I like knowing that I have captured and or created something that is of great meaning to them and that they will cherish forever.
A. Unfortunately during these economic times there are a lot of questions about prices and how they compare to other companies. First if the work you are viewing moves you that is significant, however if you like it just as well or less than the next person price will be more important. The old saying "you get what you pay for" applies to photography as well. I tell people that quite often shopping for photography is new to them and so I use a more familiar comparison. For instance you can buy a 2011 Hyundai Accent for 12,000 or you can buy a 2011 BMW 328 for 38,000 and both will get you from point A to point B. However there is a difference in the quality in many ways and that is reflected in the price so you have to decide where is my budget and what kind of quality do I want. Of course there is everything in between and maybe someone splits the difference to a get a little more quality at a price they can afford. I often tell clients that it is better to have great photography and less product than mediocre photography with prints, albums, and the like. For instance 2 hours of great photography might be better than 5 hours of photography that does not move you.
