A short announcement for anyone who reads this:
With the exception of a wedding I'm doing on September 10th, I'm going to be taking the summer off from weddings and portraits in order to focus on looking for a job, spending time with family and dealing with personal issues, and doing nature photography. It's been way too long since I've been out just enjoying nature and taking pictures, and since I'll be graduating with an A.A.S. this month, it's also time for me to get a job with a steady paycheck. And, as anyone who has looked for work recently knows, looking for work can be a full time job in itself.
I'll be more than happy to book anything for this fall and beyond, but I need this summer to relax, sort some things out, and make that transition from full time student to work (and part time school after that).
Thank you for your patience and understanding,
-Bonnie

My new website design is finished. Check it out for new photos, monthly specials, and blog updates. – Mar 22, 2011 at 6:07 pm
I specialize in fine art photography - landscapes, macro and all things nature.
I also do portraits and weddings. I don't have a studio, which keeps a low overhead, and allows for lower prices. I do all portrait work at the location of your choice.
I was born and raised in the Northwest.

Bonnie was awesome to work with! Not only was she available on short notice, she took the time to meet with us and get a clear idea of what we wanted in our wedding photography- which was important in our Offbeat wedding. She juggled multiple locations, uncertain lighting, and a very non-traditional ceremony and reception with ease, and met with us just a few weeks after the wedding with retouched, finished photo files!
We wanted a photographer to capture great photographs as they happened- we didn't want someone pushing us around for the entire time creating forced poses or moments. Bonnie was able to be stealth when she needed to be to respect the event while getting the right shot!
If you don't want someone trying to dictate your day to you, and you _would_ like to work with a person who is accepting of non-cookie cutter weddings, I highly recommend Bonnie. She is talented, professional, and friendly.

Bonnie took some photos for our anniversary. They are just wonderful and we've received nothing but rave reviews about them! We can't wait for our next session!
