I'd seen Terra's work from several friends weddings and when we got engaged I knew immediately that I wanted her to shoot it. She is fun, friendly, perfectly reliable and has the magic ability to make even average-looking people beautiful. We both tend to hate pictures of our selves, but somehow with Terra's magic they came out like works of art. I would recommend her to anyone who wants wedding photos that are creative, artistic and affordable.

I was really impressed by Terra's work, so my husband and I asked her to shoot our wedding. She was very professional and thorough. She made sure that we got all the photos we wanted and she had a ton of really creative ideas. My husband doesn't like having his picture taken, and she was great at keeping him at ease. I would definitely recommend Terra to anyone who wanted amazing photos of themselves or their loved ones.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. It is important to hire a photographer who's work you like, and who's personality you like as well. It is super important for photographers to connect with their clients in order for them to feel the most comfortable in front of the camera.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Photography today is as much about the post production of images as it is the actual taking of the photographs. Many good photographers spend two or more hours editing and stylizing images to every hour they spend shooting them. Creating amazing pictures is SO much more than the clicking of the shutter.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Make sure you ask what is included in a photographer's package specifically (DVD of images, prints, online photo gallery, etc). Also ask if the photographer is going to edit and or stylize the images. I have heard horror stories of people receiving DVD's of 1000's of images that have not been edited or touched up! A good photographer will always edit their images, leaving out unflattering shots, blurred images, and images with improper exposure. A great photographer will take the extra steps to touch up and stylize the best of the collection.
