Introduction: Let me help you pursue your passion! I've been teaching piano, guitar, drums, bass, and congas for 5 years now, and I've a lifetime of commitment towards music. I also offer courses in mixing/mastering and songwriting. Lessons are in-home—I can come to you, or you can come to me at my studio in NE Portland. First lesson is free, then rates are $30 / 30min or $50 / hr.

Tommy has been an amazing music teacher for our entire family. My 8 year old son started taking guitar lessons from him and it was such a great experience that soon afterward my 11 year old daughter and then myself (41 years old) started taking piano lessons from Tommy. Tommy has been extremely patient, great with both kids and adults, he makes learning music fun, and there is no pressure. Just fun and learning music.

Tommy provides piano lessons for our two sons (ages 6 and 9). The kids love it, they learn a lot. Highly recommend!
