Joel Ford really taught me to let loose on the sax. he helped me realize that i already knew what it was i had to practice. that i already had it in me, i just had to do the work to get it out meaningfully. his skill and style were always awe inspiring as well as inspiring. furthermore he is a genuinely friendly guy. wish we still lived in the same town!
