Hello,

My name is Rick Phillips. I perform kind and respectful wedding ceremonies in Oregon and Washington. Most ceremonies are just $199.00 and include consultations and a thoughtful custom ceremony respectful of your religious preferences.

The text of your ceremony is provided in advance of your wedding, so you may approve or revise as you wish. Rehearsal guidance is also available.

Portland/Vancouver travel within a 15-mile radius is included; additional travel is just $0.75/mile.

Please call for an appointment. I will do my best to accommodate your schedule, be that regular business hours, evenings or weekends.

May I be of service, please?

Sincerely,

Rev. Rick Phillips

Question and answer

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. While it is no secret, the rehearsal, no matter how small a gathering, is really quite important. Everyone involved wants to make your ceremony perfect. "Winging it" often invites elements to be included that perhaps do not create the memories one had intended. A simple walk-through will alleviate many anxieties and provide opportunities for questions to be raised and answered.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. "I enjoy recommending you to clients – you are so personable and your ceremonies are always reflective of the clients' personalities." Irene M.

"You added some fun to our ceremony, you were just what we wanted!" Shannon & Armando Y.

"You were exceptional! Thank you!" Jamie & Michael C.

"We will never forget your kindness to all of us. You treated us so special, like family." Lynn & Bill T.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy being a part of such a wonderful celebration!

I enjoy meeting with couples and learning about their relationship and discussing the details of their ceremony.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. My most commonly asked question is, "Are you available for my wedding?" I always try to answer, "Yes!"

A large part of the service I offer is being flexible as to religious preference, ceremony progression and content. It is YOUR ceremony and I will do my best to create a ceremony that is just how you wish it to be.
