March 18 review is not spam. I would not hire Michael Akers again. He is not telling the truth. Ask him why he is no longer on Uship.com and I would call the Oregon BBB.Thats just my opinion.

I was looking for a mechanic for my daughter who at school in Eugene (I'm in Southern California) and was having problems finding a mobile mechanic who I could trust since I was not there.

Mike responded to my ad and explained his business. I also checked the Thumbtack reviews and felt he was worth a try.

He called my daughter about an hour before he planned on arriving. When he got there, he took a look and confirmed my initial suspicion about a bad alternator. He also gave the car a once over, found bad spark plugs, a worn out battery and a missing piece of duct work. He even got me a deal on a replacement battery as mine was just out of warranty.

All work was explained to my daughter first and then to me over the phone. Great communication and excellent work. Now I have someone I can go to in the Eugene area

Michael Akers was hired to do a job and my mistake was that I paid him ahead. He never completed the job and it has cost me $1000's in damages. We are in the process of taking legal action. Just check the BBB for Auto Mo Dive. I will never hire him again.

Mike was very well informed with what my RV needed. Fixed it in a short manner, and checked other things as well. I will certainly call him again. I plan for him to be my all around mechanic for all 3 of my vehicles. Excellent service. Friendly very reasonable

I needed my alternator replaced. The job took quite a bit longer than expected. I appreciated that they came to my house on a Sunday in bad weather and (eventually) darkness and completed the job successfully. The owner (not the mechanic who came to my house) called me before and after the job was done and his communication was excellent. I think they really do care about their customer's satisfaction and doing the job right. Also, the price was very reasonable-- thank you! Overall, I am satisfied and my car is running well again.

I first called Automodive after I received a prompt response quote for my inquiry because my car wasn't starting on Christmas eve. Michael, the CEO of Automodive, diagnosed that my starter was out. I had plans to go to a dinner on Christmas day and he offered to give me a ride to and from the party because I was without a car. I couldn't believe how amazing the customer service was. Michael came back to my house the next day and completed the starter replacement on my 2001 Honda Accord. He was very professional, honest and helpful. I highly recommend Automodive to anyone who is looking for affordable car care and excellent customer service!
