Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. A good DJ will give you an honest quote with lots of references to back everything up. Be careful of "some guy" that just has some sound equipment lying around somewhere that you find off craigslist!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. A mobile DJ is not just there to play music, but to also help the event move along. Such as for a wedding it is the DJ's job to coordinate dances, cake cutting, and make sure the bride and the groom eat first!
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. It is also good to ask not only the pricing, but what that package includes. Don't go with the cheapest guy you can find, make sure they are a legitimate business first.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. Recently I received a call from a lady asking me to DJ for their charity Boys and Girls Aide. I did not know much about their organization at the time but I was truly blessed to be apart of an event that was able to raise a lot of money to help find homeless children families. They are a great charity and I look forward to working with them soon!
