Introduction: One thing that truly sets us apart from our competition is the fact that we only solicit weddings, and nothing else. We've tried since 2004 to be excellent at one thing, rather than decent at many. Being highly specialized and deeply experienced with weddings specifically is a HUGE benefit considering it's a live event that we don't control and we only get one chance to nail the shot! We have to be able to predict where to be, when to be there, and be quick-thinking enough to have it all come together in an instant, which is a type of pressure that less experienced and less specialized studios simply cannot perform as well under. What we're doing seems to be working, as the readers of Oregon Bride magazine have voted us "Best Videographer Statewide" for 12 consecutive years, from 2009-2020! I love that fact that what I do truly matters, even if just to one family. A wedding film won't change the world, but it certainly can mean the world to a couple as the years go on. It's so rewarding to see our clients' reactions the first time the view their completed film... it definitely make the late night editing sessions worth it!
