- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's not complicated at all: 1/3 is due as the retainer at booking, 1/3 is due 2 weeks before the wedding, and the final 1/3 is due upon completion of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally we'll meet at our studio and/or via phone to get to know one another and ensure that we're a good fit, then later on we'll typically do a second in-person meeting a few weeks prior to the filming date to go over the final itinerary together so that we're on the same page prior to the big day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to attaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts, I regularly attend national filmmakers conferences including WPPI, IN[FOCUS] and WEVA, as well as numerous smaller seminars. With video technology constantly changing it's essential to invest time, money and effort to keep on top of the game!
