Evelyn MacLean - Director/Owner I have 10 years of teaching experience and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction.
We offer both individual and group tutoring to students age 7-18. We also offer peer-to-peer tutoring, small group instruction, art classes, guitar lessons and after-school homework help programs.
Guitar instruction : Classical, acoustic, rock, folk, electric and bass.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. We work with both public and home schooled students. Writing, reading skills, math through Algebra II. We mostly do 1-1 tutoring sessions, but through the summer we will be running 24 small group sessions. Check out our web page for details under the calendar tab.
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. We work with 50-60 students a week! Our tutors credentials range from having a masters in education, to a law degree and a masters in international business. We have 3 certified teachers on staff.
All tutors have been fingerprinted and background checks.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. We truly care about our students and the results they get!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Our business is unique in that we offer students tutoring services and provide options for art too. We also offer guitar lessons.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Everything. I've been a teacher for 10 years. ILC has been running for 2.5 years. All of the tutors get to really know their students and families through our center. This is not Sylvan! We are all strong believers in art, music, and types of learning styles all being important for students.
