Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure that the provided is licensed, bonded and insured and has experience installing garage ceiling racks. When a storage racks is installed, there is typically a lot of storage items and heavy weight over your head and cars, so you want to know that the racks are installed correctly.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. That garage ceiling racks work in almost ever garage; either over the garage door, in front of the garage door or along side and back walls. In that they are custom installed, we can drop as much as four feet off the ceiling and they are rated for as much as 600 lbs (depending on the rack size).

Homeowners can order these racks over the internet for self installation, yet can pay minimally more to have it professionally installed and a lifetime warranty. For a few extra dollars, it usally doen't make sense for a consumer to install the product.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How long have you been installing racks and how many racks have you installed? What is the product line, and are they referenced on their suppliers website as an authorized dealer? Are they licensed, bonded and insured? Can they provided testimonials and references. Do they have a website? How many racks sizes are available?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Do they have a need for additional storage? If the answer is "YES", our garage ceiling racks are an affordable solution to immediatley be able to create a vast amount of storage, using the space they already own...their garage ceiling. Ceiling racks provide significantly more storage than expensive garage cabinetry and pay for themselves over the cost of monthly mini-storage.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Our work stands out in that most other garage ceiling rack companies have their vertical posts connected into one point of the roof truss or floor joint. With SafeRacks patented ceiling connection, each vertical post is attached to a ceiling bracket that is connected to two roof trusses or floor joist, and uses two 3" lag bolts at each connection point. Not only is it a redundant connection to minimize any possible failure, but in many installations will help to distribute the load to both connection points. It is the industies strongest connection.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I always tell my customers just prior to the installation, that they will love the racks and their new storage....it is always the case! Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. I'm honest and ethical and would rather install the rack configuration that works in someone garage, specific to their storage needs. It is not about how many racks can I install for this person, but what it the best racks solutions I can install for my customer. I feel 99% of my customer enjoyed their experience working with me and 100% love their garage ceiling racks and the storage it provided.
