Hat Creek Livestock is a small, family-owned and operated ranch that is headquartered in Troutdale, Oregon. We are dedicated to producing and direct marketing quality, all natural grass-fed beef and smart, gentle, athletic horses for competition, ranch work and pleasure.
Our training program provides the early foundation that goes into making top-notch performance horses. Whether you plan to compete or just want a reining horse handle on your ranch horse, the success comes when you have a horse that will do anything you ask with a soft resistance free neck.
We have more than 8 cross-fenced acres dedicated to pasture turnout for the horses that are housed in our facility. Adjacent to the barn, we have an additional 120+ acres which boasts beautiful pastures and miles of riding trails amongst the forested topography. Whether you are riding on the trails or in the outdoor arena, the views of the Columbia River Gorge are spectacular.
Our indoor round pen is modest and always dry. The box stalls, as well as the aisles, are rubber matted and regularly cleaned. Automatic waterers ensure horses will always have clean, fresh water to drink. Basic feed (hay and grain) is provided daily in their stall, and they are never fed in the pasture setting. We have a wash rack, secure tack rooms, and a heated restroom.
