Sometimes, business decisions are a bit cloudy. Direction isn’t certain. The burden of indecision weighs heavily. Leading can be lonely, My Coaching/Mentoring is based on my unique model of developing servant-leadership habits: knowing yourself, controlling yourself, and finally, learning to give, leading by serving.
Are you looking to put your business burdens into trustworthy hands? Are you looking for someone who would faithfully help shoulder this part of your journey?
I may have questions for you to consider that will help you overcome your impediments to success.
Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. If you are looking for a coach who does more than just continually affirm you, I'm your guy. Sure, affirmation is important; but also important is a process of introspection that includes developing an awareness of your strengths, how to capitalize them, how to moderate them when in excess; how to supplement them and how to bridge to the strengths of others to build a strong team. Obstacles to success often are created when behaviors are not controlled: do you know what behavior drive you? How to control them? Look for a provider that will help you shape realistic goals fixed on you developing pathways to achieving your purpose.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Why do you think (believe or feel) your process will benefit me? What makes the experience valuable? How are you different from a career coach, or a "life" coach? Just what is a business coach anyway and why isn't that just consulting?
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I'll let some of my clients respond:
"No president or CEO should try to run a company without a "guardian Griff" on their shoulder."
K. Milne, President & CEO of Stardust.com
“Thank you so much for helping me discover my strengths and to better organize my business where I can work in those strengths and delegate the rest.”
J. Williams-Von Zopf, President, The Benefits Group, LLC
“Our time together is truly a blessing because I am able to put my burdens into trustworthy hands, confident that someone would help faithfully shoulder this part of my journey with me and ask me the kinds of questions I need to move to the next steps.”
C. Holt – a life-coach client
"Griff coached me about my emerging business and asked me some very interesting questions that led to some very specific recommendations - but back then they were not what I wanted to hear. I did follow his coaching and that was the best decision I ever made. He continues to amaze me with his insight and wisdom. I trust his counsel."
T. Faley, WheelsUp Woodworking
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I enjoy most when the "light bulb" goes on and a person catches: 1) the vision of knowing themselves better - how they are wired and the strengths they bring to the mix; 2) winds of change that are needed to better wrestle with the issues that must be personally managed and controlled; and 3) currents of growth that result from giving self serving the needs of others.
