A. If possible, shop local! Meet with prospective designers face-to-face. The success of any design is often based on how well a designer understands your business, your goals, and the local market.

A. Don't purchase your URL from a reseller! Research the company before you buy. Renewals can be free as part of many hosting packager or as much ad $35-$40 a year.

A. 1. A consumers site goals will determine the site functionality. A professional designer should have a worksheet that narrows this down for you.
2. The "feel" & functionality needed will help determine who you choose. Ask to see a few samples.
3. Success is a process. Meet your designer and build a working relationship.
3. Your budget will also play a huge part of your decision. Quotes can range from $300 to $3000. You just balance it all out.
