Acme Dam Fishing is a fully insured fish guide / charter boat service company offering fully equipped guided float tube fishing trips, lodging, and equipment for angling the mountain lakes of southwest, north central and northeast PA.
Whether fishing for bass, carp, northern pike and muskies, your fish guide will provide you with the equipment, know-how and opportunity to fish and enjoy the great outdoors from float tubes.
We are located just off Route 31, 6 miles west off the Pennsylvania Turnpike Exit 91, Donegal. We are minutes away from Laurel Hill State Park, Seven Springs & Hidden Valley Resorts, and approximately 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
No prior fishing experience necessary. We'll teach you the tricks and methods to catching fish out of a float tube, as well as instruction on proper use of all float tube fishing equipment before launching.
We have individualized fishing instruction for beginners and novice fishermen.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We offer a unique and exciting method of fishing. It's real adventure. Experience the excitement when a fish slams your lure within a few feet of your float tube. Enjoy the wildlife of the lakes up close and personal, fish, beavers, otters, ducks, geese and other critters that find people in float tubes very interesting and do not fear. Get exercise, fresh air and enjoy a day on the lake in a float tube and mellow into the scenery.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like the teaching aspect of my job the most, There is nothing more exciting than watching a 1st time float tuber catch and land their first fish in a float tube after I have taught them my secrets.
