Scot is a creative, talented wardrobe stylist and costume designer. He has transformed his passion for making people look their best into a service that provides clients with 1 on 1 consultations, personal shopping trips, and style coaching both individually and to groups.
His passion for style was ignited by his long time love of movies. Scot is inspired by the classic looks created years ago by Edith Head to the present day creations of Louise Mingenbach and Sandy Powell.
Scot, a New Jersey native, has worked in the clothing industry in a variety of ways since high school working for companies like Henry Jacobson and Calvin Klein. Scot made his film debut as a costume designer with "The Beautiful People", and has moved on to work on other short films, feature films, and TV pilots.
He is also a new contributor to Examiner website for Cicero's Style and Fashion section and has been featured on Comcast Newsmakers.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. The most important thing to look for is a Stylist that is going to enhance your style. When you are done, you want to have a look that is you and that makes you feel your best.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. If I were a customer, wish that I realized how valuable and inexpensive a Wardrobe Stylist can be!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I feel that my attention to detail makes my work stand out from the crowd. With my experience in the the corporate world I tend to approach each project with a level of organization that is hard to find in my industry. It allows me to function with structure in a creative environment that that does always have solid structure.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. What I love about my job is the ability to take a concept and turn it into a visual reality. When i am working with clients one on one it is an excellent chance for me to understand their goals and help them meet those goals.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. "Scot, do you do hair and make-up, too?" My response? "No." My view is to let the professionals do what they do. So when it comes to hair and make-up I have relationships with experts in those fields. It allows each of us to focus on what we do best.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. Each project has a special place in my heart, but I will always remember my first freelance client. He was a fitness model and he asked me to help him shop for the clubwear section of the competion. The shopping trip tooks us about 4 hours and ended with order a pair of Cole Haan shoes from Hawaii! My client ended up getting 4th place in this particular category. Considering the number of contestants that we REALLY an accomplishment.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I wish that more customers understood that working with a stylist does not mean that have to spend a huge amount of money. Find a stylist that can working with your budget.
Q. What are your most common types of jobs?
A. My most common jobs are 1 on 1 consultations and Costume Designer projects for films.
