I am a certified trainer and behaviorist. I offer a wide variety of services from puppy manners, basic training, advanced training, boot camp, scent detection, search and rescue, and therapy/service dog training. I train any age, any breed, and any personality.
I am a one-stop shop because I am also a Certified Master Groomer and can take care of all your grooming needs. My clients love my work and have said so on Angie's list, and I was also featured in Philadelphia magazine for Best Groomer in 2010.
This is not a job; for me, this is my passion and it shows through in my work. If you would like more info, please see my website.
A. Always ask for references. Meet with the trainer and make a short list of all the issues you would like the trainer to work on. Be honest. If your dog has shown aggression in the past or has actually bitten someone let your trainer know. We can only train a dog properly when we are given acurate info regarding their issues.
A. I wish I knew what questions to ask and I would make sure to ask for references. Not all trainers are behavior specialist aske how long they have been training for and what they specialize in.
A. How long have you been training dogs? Have you ever dealt with a dog who is aggressive? Do you have any references? Could you do a demo with your own personal dog? Have you won any awards or been recognized by any industry organizations?
A. Making sure they have the time to committ to the training program set up for their pet. Never book training just before you go on vacation because all the hard work you put in before going away will not be there when you get back unless you take your dog with you.
