What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I take courses, usually through the Association of Bridal Consultants which I am a member of. I go to confrences and read books, magazines, blogs and talk to others to see what's going on and learn from them.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been helping my friends with their weddings for years. At some point, I started seeing more about doing the things I was doing already for a living so a few years ago, I used my tax refund to take a course and get certified and started my business plan. When I moved here after my own wedding, I did all the legal aspects and started. I love researching the area and getting to know people and hope to help take the stress out of weddings for many more people.
