Linda is an amazing visionary and a great collaborator. Her eye for how to put things together & her taste in are impeccable. She has helped me both entirely revamp my own home over a couple of years and more recently served to design a vacation rental beach home we own from floor to ceiling. She knows how to refresh what you have and incorporate new items that move you into a whole new league of beautifully designed homes. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our price structure is unique in that we simply charge per hour. We do not mark merchandise up. Anything that we sell to you is sold at cost. We believe that if we can provide you the client with a unique & special product at wholesale, the end result is a beautiful project to add to our portfolio. The client is happy because they have a fabulous design & the designer discount basically supplements the Design fees!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Its Personal. Personal rapport is very important in a client-designer relationship. Typical projects last at least several months or longer, so it is beneficial to have a good personal connection. You will need to trust this person and feel comfortable. Ask yourself, are they good communicators and easy to talk to; do they understand your needs, wants, goals and budget?
