About
I go to the home where most of the unwanted behaviors happen. Dogs and their owners learn better in their own environment, as it is less stressful than traveling to another location for the training. I spend time with each owner learning their goals for a well-behaved dog then work with the owners to achieve that goal. I really train the owners to train their dogs, which gives them a sense of accomplishment and pride that they taught their dog to listen to them and behave properly.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with a lot of puppies for housebreaking, crate training, puppy manners, biting biting and chewing and walking on leash. Many of my clients are adolescent dogs that are no longer puppies with "cute" behaviors, but now need manners. Owners want to stop jumping, learn door manners, walking on leash, coming when called. Being a behavioral therapist and a trainer I also work with many harder cases that other trainers will not work with such as separation anxiety and aggressive behaviors.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you are looking for private in-home training that does not use treats or physical force then our natural non-physical methods are for you. All it takes is 15 minutes a day until it becomes a part of your every day routine. Consistency = results
