I called him Thursday and He provided a written estimate the next day for the initial work (drywall, molding, insulation, and studs) and began work the following Friday, as agreed. He was prompt, courteous, worked full days, and cleaned up each day before he left. Partway through this work, I asked him for an estimate to complete the floor, a new door frame, and paint/prime the walls and trim. He provided this estimate within 24 hours and I asked him to proceed. The work was done when he said it would be. I really appreciated him taking the time to answer my questions with regards to specific materials used, and why raising the floor was the best method. All was very logical. I was very pleased with his work and will use him again in the future.
