Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Our company tries to focus more on the commercial side of the cleaning business. Most of our jobs involve cleaning offices, warehouses, schools, etc.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. If you are looking to hire a professional cleaning service for your home or office there are a few essential items to look for. First, make sure that the company carries insurance. Second, ask if all employees are required to pass a background check before hiring. Many companies will try and save money on payroll by hiring anybody. Make sure the people coming into your building are trustworthy. Lastly, ask about their cancellation policy before signing any contract. Some companies may ask you to give 60-90 days notice or even a buyout to end services with them.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. It's important to gather as much information as you can. We base our pricing off a formula we developed that takes into account the tasks and the estimated time to complete them. Leaving out even minor details can sometimes make an estimate inaccurate. Few examples of information would be how many bathrooms, square footage of the location and whether or not you supply any supplies/equipment to complete the job/task. With our company, we always like to see a facility first to ensure that our estimate is as accurate as possible.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We are a small business and we take great pride in our ability to provide customers and prospective clients with affordable, trustworthy and high-quality cleaning services. We understand the trust that is involved with hiring somebody to come into your business and we ourselves and our employees to a high level of professionalism and skill. Unlike many cleaning franchises, with us you deal directly with the owners. We know that if you are not satisfied with our services, it is our good name and reputation that is on the line.
Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. Our last major project was for a company that makes un-manned helicopters for the military. We received a call to do a full spring clean in anticipation of a visit from the Secretary of the Navy. The project involved a full stripping and waxing of two main offices, the scrubbing of 3 warehouse floors and a complete dust, wipe down and trash removal of the entire location. The job took started at 3 in the afteroon with 6 employees and we finished up at about 12 midnight.
